I never watched the first one so I did not personally know what to expect from this movie. But listening to other people I thought that this was going to be a bad film. Constantly swearing and not very good jokes.
When I did watch this film I thought it was hilarious. I did not watch this film by choice I was just so bored I though may as well have a look. I ended up staying for the whole film and laughed the most I think. I completely understand why children shouldn’t see this. Completely. Like sometimes (15) are not that bad. You can let your 9 year old see it in your company and they wouldn’t be scared for like. But this film…would widen their vocabulary…a lot.
The narrative of this film is quite clever and compared to some other films that try to be funny. It is a nice touch that the teddy bear wants to be classed as a human being and not an object. Sorry if I have just ruined it for you by the way. I think the film is a nice length. It is not to long and does not make you want to walk out. There are bits which if asked to I could change or take out without any problems but it doesn’t matter that much.
I am about to ruin it for you again. But my absolute favourite bit of this film would have to be when Ted is trying to run away from the bad guy and he hides in a group of similar looking teddy’s. To find him the bad guy sings Sweet Caroline and Ted jumps out and sings the Duh Duh Duh bit. I cried of laughter.
Anyway I would recommend his film for people over 15 obviously. This is not a film you buy and let you child watch. I hope you enjoy/enjoyed this film. Enjoy. ❤
