So I have already made a blog about how I managed to get myself a new full time job. It will be as a support worker and I will be starting my training in a couple of days hopefully.
Because of this opportunity I left my job at the pub because I was really not enjoying it. It was late nights and then with the cinema its early mornings. 90 percent of the people I had to deal with where not nice anyway. Also the amount of drama that happened amongst the staff was boring as well so I left. I am keeping my job at the cinema because it is enjoyable and I have been there for nearly four years. I am also known as a member of staff there and I have my regulars which really make my week most of the time.
I thought this was going to be a short blog just saying about my experience but I am brambling, as usual.
Anyway. Including this new job I have had 3 jobs. The first two I have had I didn’t have to have an interview for them. I new the people so I went and spoke to them and they gave me the job then and there. I didn’t even think about leaving the places and how to do it. So when I had the phone call that I got the new job and I realized I could leave the pub I had absolutely no idea how to leave the place. I asked my mum about how the best way to do it, all she said was to message my manager on Facebook, so I did…
I was expecting to have to write a letter of resignation and stuff. All formal but nope. A quick message on Facebook and that was that. It is weird. But yes.
I hope you have had a good day.
